![]() Ill try to find the 1.0 exe and patch over if i can and see if it helps.Īnd yes, the games crashes during in game events and not FMV's, ive already disabled them in the registry. I guess im using the 1.1 patch? I just downloaded and installed the ISO from, but havent applied any patches after that. That way the game will auto skip all Cinematic FMV's, so atleast those wont give you problems, but the sound buffer error is usually triggered by in game events, not the FMV's just to be clear. If the FMV's are giving you a hard time though, i would Suggest disabling them through the windows registry, There is a guide on that back in the bio2 section buried somewhere. I've seen multiple people get the sound buffer errors, using the 1.1 patch, and it seems to trigger during in game events, not the FMV's One thing you should clarify though, is your game crashing during the FMV's? (cinematic clips) or during the in game cutscenes(events)? ![]() Is there anyway you could use 1.0? or do you get a direct x error otherwise? ![]() Has anyone else experienced this error? Has anyone got some tips or advices for me? Feels like ive tried everything, and tbh starting to get frustrated. ![]() This has actually happened on both of my laptops of late. ![]() Ive tried reinstalling the game, my sound/video drivers, but the problem persists. Then this error appears "Failed to create sound buffer error". The issues continue till u meet Anette with Ada, and when the FMV are suppose the begin the game freezes and crashes. The music and parts of the sound suddenly dissapears. I've encoutered an error with my game lately that makes the game crash about half way in, and its exactly at the same place every time. ![]()
